Cynthia Rebholz

Facilator

Cynthia utilizes attachment-based therapies, specifically the Finding Peace Approach, to get to the heart of the matter, spark change, and heal emotional wounds for couples and individuals. All relationships have ups and downs; even your relationship with yourself can feel bumpy. When our emotional lens gets clouded by past wounds, we hide our pain and mistrust our relationships. This causes our relationships to feel stuck on the spin cycle of disconnection, conflict, and aloneness. If this sounds familiar, Cynthia wants you to know that change is possible; under our wounds is a functioning attachment system wired for connection, so everything needed to tune up your life is already inside you. Holding hope, Cynthia is unwavering as you shine light into the dark places that hold fear, uncertainty, shame, and anxiety to let go of pain and reveal your true self. Cynthia’s experiences include working in private practice, Serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland, social services, inpatient adolescent residential treatment, and medical and family service settings, which allow her to work effectively with children, adolescents, and adults. She has received several awards, participated in published research, and is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
